Rhodes Ranch is a master planned golf course community located in Southwest Las Vegas, adjacent to Summerlin. The community is situated around a 6,909 yard lushly landscaped course designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson and is expected to have more than 5,000 homes at completion. This community has three different series options to choose from: The Haven, The Oasis and The Sanctuary Series. In total there are 11 different floor plans to choose from.
All of the new homes in this Las Vegas community are very reasonably priced, with the median single-family home starting at the low 300’s and reaching up into the high 400’s. Overall, prices are broken down into several different communities with Rhodes Ranch home prices starting above $150,000 for an off-the-course location to over $700,000 for the executive golf course homes. Lush, green landscaping is the highlight of Rhodes Ranch with hundreds of elegant Canary Date Palms and an extremely scenic entry with waterfalls. The elevation at Rhodes Ranch ranges from 2,665 ft. to 2,800 ft. above sea level.
The famed Rhodes Ranch golf course, originally opened in 1997, was designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson Jr. and offers fast, fun and friendly play, a 4 Star rating by Golf Digest Magazine, and a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired clubhouse. The clubhouse features bar and dining facilities, full service golf shop, putting greens and a driving range. While the golf course is open to the general public, residents receive discounts and preferred tee times.
Rhodes Ranch features a 35,000 square foot recreation facility called the R-Club that features exercise areas, indoor basketball and racquetball courts, four tennis courts as well as other common area facilities. There has also been the recent addition of the Fun Zone water park. It is one of the few communities of its kind outside of age restricted with this level of common area amenities. It is also worth noting that use of the common area amenities is included in the association fee.
Infrastructure had been a problem in the area, however now there is a shopping center with a grocery store just to the north and east of Rhodes Ranch. Minutes from the McCarran Airport and the Las Vegas Strip, residents can enjoy world-class dining and shopping as well as art and cultural experiences at the Smith Center for Performing Arts and T-Mobile Arena. Golf courses such as Rhodes Ranch Golf Club provide an outdoor escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Las Vegas is also home to University of Nevada Las Vegas, Nellis Air Force Base and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
