Just a few years ago, most landlords would use the local newspapers to advertise their vacant Las Vegas Rental Properties. Fast forward a few years later and most savvy landlords now advertise their rental property on free Internet sites like Craigslist.org, Backpage.com or Kijiji.com. Classified sites like these are not only free to use but generate a ton of targeted traffic that can lead to a potential tenant.
With 72% of renters beginning their rental search online (According to Rentbits.com) it makes more sense to market your Las Vegas Rental Property on the Internet than spending hundreds of dollars on classified ads in the newspaper. Another key in advertising your property on the Internet is to ensure you are using sites that actually generate targeted traffic. Many free sites allow you to advertise your rental property but most of these free sites generate only a handful of monthly visitors. It makes no sense to advertise your property on the Internet if it can’t be found by potential tenants.
Other great sites to advertise your rental property are Rentals.com, Rentalhouses.com, Rentspeed.com, Rentlist.com, Forrent.com to name a few. Many of these sites do require a monetary amount to advertise but it makes more sense to advertise on sites like these than spending money on classified ads in the newspaper.
We at North American Realty of Nevada use most of these sites I listed above to advertise our vacant rental properties. If you have any questions about how we advertise our client’s investment properties, feel free to give us a call at 702.376.7379 to complete our contact form.
